From my latest polish purchases today I've picked the one I'm most excited about - khaki green shade from Essence Colour & go line.
This one looks very different in various lights, so I'd say all pictures are color accurate. The color, as most green shades, is very flattering on me, it's a warm olive/khaki shade, leaning a touch brown in certain lights, and makes me wonder how does it compare to Chanel's Khaki Vert, as I'm somehow convinced this one was supposed to be a copy of that one.
Application was good, 2 coats, opaque and fast drying, but by the end of second coat I could already feel the polish getting thicker - that's the curse of fast-drying polishes - the same way they dry fast on you nails they will dry and become thick in the bottle in a very short amount of time. That's the reason I am not very fond of this line of polishes, as some I own have become unusable after just 2-3 applications. But I didn't see a similar color elsewhere so had to buy it.
Sad fact is that they're discontinuing it. So, if you like it better get it fast.
Thanks for reading :)

ReplyDeleteI like how the colour shifts from brown to khaki green. It's a great shade for everyday wear. :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty ! I wish we had this brand around here
ReplyDeleteOoh I love such pretty-ugly colours! We don't have this brand in Singapore as well.
