Comparison time!

It's been a while since I've done a proper comparison post, time to make up for that. I've noticed that some similar colors have been piling up on my desk lately, so I had to sort them out. 

First up, dark grayed out purples! Colors in question are - Golden Rose Matte 11, Miss Sporty 425 and Aura Inches 324. All of these were bought in the last several months, and two of them are matte in finish. Let's see how they compare.

2 coats + shiny top coat on Golden Rose and Aura:

As you can see, Aura polish is a little lighter and just a touch bluer purple shade than the other two, and Miss Sporty and Golden Rose are almost indistinguishable with top coat. The only difference is that 2 coats of Miss Sporty give a slightly jelly feel to a polish, whereas Golden Rose becomes fully opaque with 2 coats and top coats just gives it shine, but no depth. Ok, still similar enough not to need both. Yet, I do not regret, both were cheap and I like the color very much, it's perfect for fall. 

Next up, a quick coral comparison between Rimmel Coralicious, Flormar Supershine 28 and Golden Rose Ceramic 140.

I was suspecting I own something very close to Coralicious, yet I couldn't not get it. I love corals, I love wearing them, but the amount I own and minuscule differences between them are really becoming ridiculous. I think I will pause with corals for a while.

Coralicious and Flormar 28 are 99.9% identical. Yup, definitely don't need both. Even the formula is similar, slightly jelly and not entirely opaque in two coats, but this is aggravated in pictures, not that visible irl. The difference in quality is notable though. Flormar is much better in my opinion, since Rimmel chips just few hours after application. Plus, Flormar is about 2x cheaper, and I like the brush more. 

Golden Rose was put there just for reference, it's a bit more reddish coral, but still not far off.
