Aura Inches 323

This is a polish I got as a gift from a dear friend a few months ago, and probably the one I would never buy myself because I already own something too similar. (Funny how I never have this problem when it comes to reds)

But beside that, it's a really nice shade of purple and everyone already knows how much I love this Aura Inches line. I understand it can't be long wearing on everyone, but I never had a bad experience with them and find the formula to be pretty good, easy to apply, love the bottle and the wide-ish brush and will continue to buy them in the future.

Inches 323 is a medium-to-dark toned purple with lots of red, but I can't say is this warm or cool, and just guessing it would look equally good on all skin tones. Other than that, it's a really classic shade that you can't go wrong with.

The formula is opaque but I used 2 coats for perfect coverage. It dries rather fast, no top coat shown here. In low lights it may appear to be black, but in the sun it really is just a deep purple. I'd say the photos are quite accurate, but of course it all depends on the light.

They do look very close in the bottle and from what I remember they look really close on the nail too, Urban Night is perhaps tiny bit lighter and Aura is redder. But I think that if you have one you really don't need the other. Or maybe you do if you are a purple fanatic, which I'm not. 

And a big surprise for me was that I liked Aura's formula a bit better than China Glaze this time. Urban Night was a little watery, dries slower, is prone to denting for longer time if you don't use a quick-drying top coat and I remember that it chipped on me on the second day, whereas Aura held really well on me even without any top coat, until I took it down some 3 days later.
