Not sure really what to call this post, just a curiosity I had to publish. Take a look.
Aura - seriously?
Yup, 3 polishes of the same 'name' that are obviously not even meant to be the same. Insert big eye-roll here. I kind of understand when different batches turn out a slightly different color. Kind of. But to put all your turquoise-blue polishes under the same number, wtf? sure, it's much easier than the heavy mind-boggling task of simply assigning it a new number. And to do it not once, but two times?!! Pure lazy, or simply couldn't care less.
Yes, I know this mini line is probably not too important for the manufacturer, and it basically consist of mostly re-promotes of their other lines, but still...
On a positive note, all of these are really nice colors. I didn't buy them because I have a thing for number 34. Nope. Let's elaborate some more on the differences.
The one on the far left was the first version I got. Bought it in March this year, swatched here and really like it.
The middle one seems to be a mini version of Inches 329 from this summer, I bought it in August. Shimmery/pearly turquoise, nice application and wear.
The right one is the newest version I got last week, and to me it looks like a mini version of Aura Inches Techno from last year. Not sure since I don't have that one but surely looks similar. Sheer sparkly turquoise, good for layering.
What do you all think of this ? Which version do you own, if any? And don't worry, I'll be sure to notify you when the fourth one comes out.

ReplyDeletemislim da mi se najvise svidja verzija u sredini, iako sam uvijek iziritirana kad su ovako nemarni, zar je toliko tesko izmislit novo ime, ili ako im se ne da zezat s imenima onda bar novi broj

ReplyDeleteOvaj plavi u sredini ima prelepu nijansu. Ali kad vidim ovako male bocice, muka me uhvati, iako priznajem to moze da bude plus, jer se lak brze trosi. Ali kod mene ne vredi...
ReplyDeleteWow. Not just the same name but the same number too! They can't be intended to be the same, can they? They're so different...but I like all of them too! I think the darker, jelly one with the strong shimmer is my favourite, but really, they're all right in my wheelhouse. ;)
