Some Like it Haute was a part of China Glaze last year's Eye Candy 3-D glitter collection and I only got it a few months ago. Enough to say that I've probably worn it 3-4 times since, but without good light conditions for taking proper photos of it. Glitters are usually difficult to photograph but I think these turned out fine and it's finally ready to be shown here.
This polish consists of tiny and very dense dark gray glitter particles and larger round holographic glitters, that are quite visible and flash a rainbow of colors.
2 coats are sufficient to completely cover your nail line and anything else, these glitters are easily applied and distributed evenly. I didn't expect that glitter polish can be this opaque and that it can provide the color you see in the bottle, but in this case it does.
After 2 coats that dry super fast you'll need one, two or even three coats of top coat because this base is really hungry for it. I used only one very thick coat of top coat here, but that one was already unnaturally thick. In most cases you'll need two generous coats.
As I already mentioned, since I worn this one of several occasions I can attest that it holds really well on my nails. Usually for a good 4-5 days with just tipwear, and when it chips it's only due to thick layer of top coat but not the polish itself. And since I hate taking off glitters, once it's on I tend to leave it on as long as it can stay decent looking.
I especially love the color scheme, quite unusual for a glittery polish, it looks dark gray from afar and once you look better - it's like a very sparkly party on your nails. This is my bf's favorite, he always approves of me wearing it, whereas he mostly rolls eyes to my other unconventional (meaning 'not red') choices.
I expect to be very busy over the next few days and probably won't be posting for some time. Still don't know what will be on my nails on New Years eve, soooo many choices. Please share yours to give me ideas! Have a nice holidays everyone and see you all next year :)
