Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 117

Jolly Jewels is a new line of indie-like glitters from Golden Rose, extremely popular at the moment. Number 117 was my first choice, as it is very basic & simple, gold glitters in black base, somewhat subdued and seems to me like it aims to be a dupe of  Deborah Lippmann's Cleopatra in New York. 

Here I have 2 coats and a thick coat of top coat. There are 2 sizes of gold hexagonal glitters - bigger and small round ones. My only complaint is that glitters are simply too dense and are really difficult to apply nicely, they are piled onto eachother so you'll have to wipe the brush off multiple times to get rid of excess glitter. I think I will try to layer only one coat over black the next time, because one coat will provide enough glitter particles to cover entire nail surface generously. 

Black colored base is decently pigmented, one coat alone looks sheer but in two it builds into nice coverage. Of course, as you can expect, it will eat all the top coat you apply over it. I did just one thick coat, but two would probably be needed for smooth surface. 

I am not sure about wear time yet, I just put it on yesterday, but soo far it looks ok, no chipping.

The final effect is really good, I love the look of gold drowned in black, it is not too sparkly, but just right. And while this whole collection has so many interesting glitter combinations available, I think that they could be a little too much for my taste and that I wouldn't really wear them after the initial excitement, so I am still holding strong in my intention to buy polishes only if 'necessary'.
