Today I made some sunny photos of a very sought after Catrice polish from a few years back. Sold Out Forever, supposedly a dupe for legendary Chanel Jade, with an appropriate name was first launched in spring 2010. Later Catrice came out with two different polishes of the same name but in different shades(?), you can read more about other versions here. Luckily, mine is the original version and I got it recently from Chester. This is probably not available anymore and thus HTF.
It came out looking slightly washed out in the pictures, the color is a bit more intense irl.
Here I have 2 coats, some nails could have used a third. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily this one applied, pastels are usually very bad and I had no problems at all. It self leveled and dried fast. The color is minty green with a good amount of blue and that famous hidden shimmer, it is not easy visible except in the sun, but a really nice touch to the color.
I have no clue whether it is really a dupe for Chanel, but I have something similar to compare it with - S-he 310.
At first I thought these two were exactly the same, but after putting them next to each other, Catrice is visibly more blue, shimmer is different, smaller and less prominent. I didn't really liked how S-he 310 looked on me, it was a bit too yellow, but Catrice looks really good with my skintone. Not the same but close. If you're in Europe this S-he polish is probably the closes shade you can get at the moment, but some other brands have dupes of Jade available too, Milani Dressmaker or Claire's Dream Catcher.

DeleteImam ga i ja, takodje taj prvi sold out forever, i ljepsi mi je od drugog. Imam ga sigurno vec 3-4 godine,a jos je dobar, i super formule, fino se maze cak i sad.Samo generalno gledajuci uopste nisam zadovoljna Catrice lakovima, na 5 lakova dodje jedan da valja,i da se fino maze. Sve sam ih razdijelila, i sebi ostavila samo 2-3, a bas sam i jedno vrijeme stalno kupovala

Deletejoj pa ja nisam ljubitelj zelene, trosila sam ga samo da ga sto prije potrosim kad mi je dosadio, cak i neke frankene napravila s njim :)

DeleteRavno tega laka nimam, ker ko je bil še v prodaji, zeleni odtenki niso bili tako popularni pri meni. Catrice je izdal že 3 različne odtenke s tem imenom, kot da si ne morejo zmisliti nič novega. Lep je. :)

Deleteimam obje verzije ovog lakića i moram priznati da još uvijek nisam načisto sama sa sobom koja mi se više sviđa ;)

DeleteOvaj Catrice je najpriblizniji dupe za CH Jade. Ali samo u ovoj verziji, jer koliko znam ima cak tri verzije ovog laka sa istim imenom.
